Training for Life

“Training for Life” follows Samantha Sauer, a certified patient advocate living with gastroparesis and multiple chronic illnesses, as she attempts to return to half-marathon training after years of health setbacks. The film chronicles Sam's remarkable healthcare journey—from her initial diagnosis through multiple surgeries, septic infections, and the feeding tube that kept her alive—all while maintaining an unlikely passion for running that became her lifeline.
